Sharing some photos taken in Tubbataha Reef National Park. I was invited to join the seabirds monitoring for their yearly population study. We were lucky to join the team with seabirds expert Arne Jensen and the team from Tubbataha researchers and rangers. I was lucky enough to visit this park, however on our first day my lens was busted. Some sort of error 01 appear if uses higher aperture. Good thing i got a back up 75-300 lens which brighten up my days in Tubbataha. Though my main purpose is to study the seabirds population but cant take this happen to my lens. I'm hoping to go back and take more photos next year. Brown Booby (Sula leucogaster) F8.0 1/3200 ISO 320 @300mm Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) F6.3 1/1000 ISO 200 @300mm

Boobies!
It is good you got to join the census Godo. No need for a big lens there!
Error 01 is usually an error of communication between the lens and the body. Maybe there was some dirt in the contact point, if so you can just wipe it out. Or maybe the lens did not lock in properly because something is loose.

Thank you for the nice comments William, Doc Luico, Mark, Tateo, Tonji, Toto, and birdphotoer.
Tonji, yes it was nice to join the team. We were invited long time ago but didn't manage to join them. Finally this year i was able to join them enjoyed counting seabirds and the team. Yes i tried cleaning the contact points but still not working. Yeah we don't need long lens but i was just looking for the 3 Frigate birds. My lens is now in with canon.

Nice shots, Godo. I visited Bird Island in the early 1990s before it was closed off to the public and protected. I was amazed to walk by so many nests with huge nestlings and eggs. I'm glad that the government is serious about protecting them.
