Great documentation! The Little Egrets seem to have a mix of feet colours even on one bird. How many Little Egrets and Great Egret nests are there? You have one photo of a breeding plumage Great Egret. I presume it will be breeding. 30,000 birds in one hectare is an average of 3 birds for every square metre so presumably most are not breeding at the same time

to many to count Sir Des, and we didn't explore in the middle part of the sanctuary we just past through path ways surround the sanctuary...

Thank you Sir Ely, even the LGU of Tacurong City is working hand in hand with the land owners of the said bird sanctuary in information drive about what the important of the bird sanctuary and also it is now open for the public as tourist attraction and a way also to educate them...

Nice pics! I saw a video on youtube about this place. There was a wire fence around the property. I suppose people are not allowed inside? Lots of interesting details in your pics -- all those plumes!!
