Very interesting shots. The KG says the Black-crowned Nightheron 'may breed in the Philippines.' So having nesting shots from Mindanao is very useful. Secondly, the Little Egret in the upper shot - out of focus - is in peak breeding condition. We can see the pink facial skin. KG says 'no evidence of breeding in the Philippines.' The Baras site video seems to show Little Egrets with a nest, and also a Great Egret in breeding condition with green-blue facial skin. Do you have any shots of Little or Great Egret at their nests? The lower shot shows a Little Egret with fully yellow feet. Do some of them have black feet? Or black feet with yellow soles?

Congratulations Borgz on your first capture. I can still remember the thrill that I had when I captured my first bird which was the Coppersmith Barbet. This was the start of a journey in bird photography that is filled with fun, excitement, and satisfaction.

Hi Borgz, it nice to see photos of breeding BCNH in your place. I’ve seen the video from this sanctuary before and its good to know we have someone to photo document the birds there now. Thanks for sharing.
