There are seven races of Sulphur-billed Nuthatch in the Philippines. I have only photographed isarog all this time. In Zamboanga their race is called zamboanga. Thankfully this fellow showed up in a bird wave in Baluno. Now I have photographed two races. Five more to go! Six races. Sitta frontalis palawana is established to be a different species. Nice. First for the race that I have seen. I still haven't seen a photo of race lilacea.
