This young bird posed for us on a ginger torch, just exactly where we wanted it to perch and feed. The race of this bird in Zamboanga is flammifera. LITTLE SPIDERHUNTERArachnothera longirostraPasonanca, Zamboanga 1/200, f6.3, ISO 1000

It's always nice to see photos of birds that have flowers or colorful plants near it.
Beautiful capture. Oh so pleasing to the eyes.

Nice shot! Sunbirds look very similar to Costa Rica's Honeycreepers.

I have not seen this bird yet and I am still hoping that someday I will get to see and photograph this nice bird. Well done Tonji & Mabuhay.

Thanks guys.
Glad you liked it.
Ely, we have seen this race in Davao also. It might be easier than Zamboanga.

This bird has gone extinct in Palawan, if I remember what Steve has noted earlier correctly. Very nice shot!
