A lot of people say 5Dmk2 is not good for birds in flight. But I got lucky and got the speeding Philippine Needletail in Zamboanga. Special thanks to Doc Boy who lent me his 400mm f5.6. My 500mm was useless for these fast little guys. I could not even see them in my viewfinder with my regular setup. Thanks guys. These birds are the same size as Glossy Swiftlets and they seem to fly faster. Shooting these fast birds made me wish I had one of the newly released camera models with high tech AF.
Ely, haha. Mabuhay.
