two years ago, I was with Aphine, Edu and later on Toto. This was shot just as the sun was rising at the horizon as you can see. As my parole date is getting closer need to control the withdrawal symptoms so I went birding in my ever reliable cure - my HDD and found this unposted capture. ;D Just need to get the trigger finger twitch and the trembling hands when I finally get hold of my camera. Collared Kingfisher ( Todiramphus chloris) 5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4 (f8), 1/100, ISO 640, Tv priority, +1 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support, in available light.

Excellent detail and nice look-back pose, Neon. Hope to see more captures once you're back here in PH.

He, he, I wanted to touch the screen to feel the feathers but I was afraid it would fly out and bang into my jalousies. Have a safe trip, Neon. telyd

A little bit closer and he could bite your itching finger. Well done Neon & Mabuhay.
