Went to visit La Mesa Eco Park with Alain a few weeks ago to look for the rare visitors that were reported to be there. We were glad to have some pretty good encounters and also had the chance to shoot some of the parks' regulars. Shooting Details: 50D + EF500mm, F5.6 to 6.3, 1/125 to 1/400, ISO 800, Manual Exposure, Handheld except for the Serpent Eagle. White Wagtail (Motacilla alba)Emerald Dove (Chalcophaps indica)Philippine Serpent Eagle (Spilornis holospilus) devouring a frog Little Egret (Egretta garzetta)with water reflections

The first time I saw the picture of your Serpent Eagle it had a Skink for its prey. Now it is a frog. The next one will be a serpent. Well done Rey & Mabuhay.
