After our visit at Our Lady of Manaoag, we went up to Baguio for an overnight stay. Of course I brought my D3 + Sigma 150-500mm OS along with me just in case. Overlooking the Baguio Country Club fairways, I was able to spot six (6) birds. Here they are.. . The Elegant Tit (Periparus elegans) Exposure 1/200, f/6.3, 500 mm, ISO 320, +7/3 EV The Crow Exposure 1/200, f/6.3, 500 mm, ISO 640, +2 EV The Brown Shrike (Lanius cristatus) Exposure 1/250, f/6.3, 500 mm, ISO 320, 0 EV The Crested Myna (Acridotheres cristatellus) Exposure 1/200, f/7.1, 500 mm, ISO 2200, -2/3 EV Sulfur-billed Nuthatch (Sitta oenochlamys) - (a lifer for me) Exposure 1/200, f/7.1, 500 mm, ISO 360, +4/3 EV The Long-tailed Shrike or the Rufous-backed Shrike (Lanius schach) Exposure 1/200, f/6.3, 500 mm, ISO 1000, 0 EV

Wow, great output for a cool day! All excellent captures despite the challenging lighting on some photos.

I was a member of the Baguio Country Club for many years for R&R and golf. I used to swim every time I go there because the pools and jacuzzi are heated. I never saw as many birds as you did in one day. I used to go almost every month as my stay there was practically free because of coupons and credits. When I started birding I felt that I need more time to go birding than to go to Baguio as I did not know that there are a lot of mountain birds to see in Baguio. I was even thankful that my term has matured and I don't have to go there anymore. Congratulations Steve on your nice harvest of birds.

Wow, great output for a cool day! All excellent captures despite the challenging lighting on some photos. Thank you Neon. Yes the light behind the subjects are always challenging. I almost lost the Nuthatch because she was moving around the bark of a tree using the sunlight as her cover.. .

I wanted to play too but I'd definitely loose my focus once I see birds within the vicinity.. .

Nice harvest, Steve. I have not been to Baguio in years, but I recall there were not many birds there, even in Baguio Country Club.

Very nice series Steve, the Long-tailed is the best for me among this bunch.

Very nice set, Steve. The sulfur-billed nuthatch seems to be a very interesting bird.

I like your Nuthatch photo (knowing the difficult habits of this bird). Big congrats on the lifer.
