This month is the worst time to go out birding here in Costsa Rica. It is raining too much with lots of landslides and floodings in many areas. I am currently here in the southern area for work-related trip and took a chance to bring my camera just in case the weather cooperate even for few moments. I got rewarded with this shot of a Cherrie's Tanager taken just within the hotel vicinity. 7D, 400mm @ f/7.1, 1/50s, ISO 640

You got a perfect setting on this bird. The eyes are so clear. If this is what you can get on a bad weather, I can imagine what fun you are going to have when the weather improves. What a kookie little paradise you have there. Well done Ariel & Mabuhay.
