Went out for a Birding Sortie with Plain Tina and CF Master JP at Laguna. It was such a wonderful sortie for numerous reasons.... I was among friends, finally saw the very elusive Chinese Francolin TWICE, shared a lot of laughs with Tina (thanks for having me in your car) and so on and so forth.... After we caught our breath going crazy when we saw the Francolin, Tina brought me to Montecito to check out the Bee-Eaters. Thanks everyone for the comments! Señor Nestor! Haven't seen you in awhile! We ought to go on a sortie one of these days. Mando.....no, this wasn't full-frame. I was just lucky to have good light and a nice green background on this beauty. .....the other secret is to have bird magnet Plain Tina at your side so the birds will really pose for you!
