I find this Acorn Woodpecker very interesting as they store the acorn by making a hole on the trunk of a tree just large enough to store the acorn into the hole. Both male and female has a red cap but the female has a black patch in between the forehead and the cap. When they make their call it is like they are laughing. Reminds me of the Kookaburra. LOL. I hope that I will someday be able to take a picture of this beautiful bird as sharp as this one. Well done Ariel & Mabuhay.
