It is good that you are putting your 500mm to work instead of to sleep. Those are superb pictures. It is the best I have seen of the White-throated Kingfisher. Well done Tina & Mabuhay.

with a 40D! Haay, I love your shots... all of these and all the time! You, bird magnet, you... yah, so blessed! Your happiness hits me, too, just by looking at your posts, esp. the RKF. After the typhoon, the birds will be preening. The cbnuts will be as restless. I will be in Subic for 5 days starting Saturday... with butt and bird watchers from Hong Kong. I hope they will not be disappointed. In case you are in the vicinity, text please. Hellooow to Wenz. telyds

Ate Lyds: Naku, wish we could go out of town this weekend. I want to go to Dumaguete - LOL !!! or even Subic :-) We have to attend this gathering this weekend kaya ayun, can't go anywhere far.
Saw lots of butterflies all over Palay-Palay. Took lots of pictures of butterflies too but have to process everything pa. I kept on thinking about you and telling Wency that you'd be so happy if you were there.
