I photographed this Mountain Verditer-Flycatcher in Bangkong Kahoy Valley (BK) from RamonQ's view deck during cold weather/rainy day. We noticed the absence this hot summer days, making us believe that this bird prefers cool weather.

Wow what a great find. We had to go to Mt. Polis to see this bird. Yes, you must be right about the cooler weather because it's supposed to range in elevations of more than 800 meters. Maybe it will go down again in Ramon's deck when the weather cools this June. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, a verditer in BK! Now that find elevates BK to high elevation status with mountain bird finds there. This find of the verditer and the citrine canary now makes wonder if the white-eyes there are mountain white-eyes and not lowlands.
Congrats for the capture, Juan Manuel. Hope to meet you soon in BK!
