Struggling with the lack of adequate light this is what I manage to salvage from the 16Gigs I shot last Saturday. There's too much noise in the pics because of very hihg ISO settings coupled with slow shutter speeds. It actually rained twice. But then again, we still enjoyed shooting the BIF'S despite the disappointing results. Purple Heron. 40D+EF400 5.6@400mm,F5.6,1/500,ISO800,handheld.

Thanks guys. We both enjoyed the 1D for I tried it too with the flyers. It's really a lot better than the 40D when it comes to flyers. We're just not fortunate enough to have good light, we could have had a little more keepers.
