Just going through my captures from last April 15 when we (Tonji&Sylvia) went to UPLB at noon time, yes, noon! and what bird do you expect too see at noontime? But there we were, what else to do you do but shoot any moving object that resemble a bird, we saw several of these birds foraging near some cattle, of course they are in the shade who else would want to be under the sun at that time, I guess we were. All my captures were blowout except for this one. Cattle Egret ( Bubulcus ibis) - UPLB Dairy grounds, April 15, 2011 5DM2 + 600 mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f5.0, 1/250 sec, ISO 400, manual exposure on available light, Car window support, 16.9m distance

This is the kind of picture that I like. I still have to wait for a chance to get close to them. Beautiful picture. Well done Neon & Mabuhay.
