So many species of sparrow that I always find it a challenge in identifying them. Feel free to correct if this is not the correct name. Field Sparrow f5.6, 1/1000s, ISO320 European Starling f6.3, 1/800s, ISO250

The Field Sparrow looks so much like the European Tree Sparrow that we have here. I noticed the absence of the black patches. The European Starling is gorgeous. Well done Conrad & Mabuhay.

Thank you Ely and Edwin. I guess I need to review again all the sparrows that I have taken before. Since buying the Sibley Guide to Birds, I have not really had a chance to recheck my database. Cheers
