I was able to do several sorties during my las parole and here are the ones that I PP already.
Many thanks to Tonji&Sylvia, Bob, Ate Lyds, and Adri for giving me company on different sorties.
From Nuvali to UPLB April 15, 2011
40D + 600 f4 IS + 1.4x Sigma TC, f5.6, 1/400 sec, ISO 200, Manual exposure, Car window support, 56.7m
There was a great deal distance and heat waves coming off the ground that gave this a very soft appearance.
Thanks to Prof Tirso for giving Tonji the direction to the BBQ place.
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4, 1/1250 sec, ISO 640, Tv Priority -1/3 EV, Car window support, 11.6m
Barred Buttonquail - Male (Turnix suscitator)
Had a difficult time framing this fast walker at this distance.
Female
f5, 1/80 sec, ISO 400, Manual exposure, Car window support, 8.9m
Don't know the reason why this bird was shaking it's body while walking, it kept the head steady while doing this.
Oriental Pipit (Anthus rufulus)
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4, 1/1250 sec, ISO 500, Tv Priority +2/3 EV, Car window support, 8.4m
Would have wanted this bird to go to the other side of the car but...a backlit capture would do this time.
Wood Sandpiper (Tringa glareola)
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4.5, 1/1250 sec, ISO 640, Tv Priority -1/3 EV, Car window support, 21.8m
Oriental Pratincole (Glareola maldivarum)
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4, 1/200 sec, ISO 125, Tv Priority, Car window support, 16.8m
Corregidor April 19-20, 2011
Asian Glossy Starling (Aplonis panayensis)
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4.5, 1/250 sec, ISO 500, Tv Priority, Tripod-Gimbal support, 19.0m
Chestnut-cheeked Starling- Male (Sturnia philippensis)
5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4.5, 1/250 sec, ISO 800, Tv Priority, + 1/3 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support, 40.3m

5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4.5, 1/250 sec, ISO 200, Tv Priority, + 1/3 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support, 56.7m
Female
ISO 640, 40.3m

5DM2 + 600 f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4, 1/500 sec, ISO 800, Tv Priority, + 2/3 EV, Tripod-Gimbal support, 13.7m
