While waiting for the Barred Button Quails to appear, my wife and I chanced upon some swallows gathering mud from a puddle near the road probably to line their nests with. Pacific Swallow Canon 40D, 300mm+1.4X, 1/320, f6.3, ISO-320, from car window Striated Swallow Canon 40D, 300mm+1.4X, 1/400, f7.1, ISO-320, from car window Then the Barred Button Quail (BBQ) finally showed up Canon 40D, 300mm+1.4X, 1/320, f6.3, ISO-320, from car window

Wonderful set bro, the Striated Swallow is over the top, tact sharp with very fine feather details, one of the best I've seen.

Wow! Excellent "in your face" captures Bob and Cynthia! The 300 you are using is a f2.8 or f4? Looks like an f4 with the ISO and aperture combination you are using. That's one sharpens!

Thanks Rey, Steve, Bobby, Adri, Mark and Nilo.
Neon, yes, I use a 300 f4 lens and I'm really happy with its performance.
Ely, I'm flattered that you called me "Bobby" because the "Bobby" here in this forum is my tukayo and idol, Bobby Kintanar. ;D
