These are the conditions that I try to avoid where the subject is half lighted and half covered by shadows. Since they are common birds it was good to practice with your gear. Cheers Ariel & Mabuhay.

Thanks, guys for the wonderful comments. I'm still struggling to find the full potential of my 7D. I've been burried with tons of workloads that prevent me from going out lately I also can't take advantage of the nice weather...I hope that summer extends for several weeks
