Hello everybody.. have been neck deep with work so any real birding sorties will have to wait. Also, am reeeeally rusty but itchy at the same time. Wanted to go to UP but light is not ideal. So I just visited my friends here at Valenzuela to see how they are doing. The colony is now made up mostly of adults. No fledglings yet (maybe they are waiting for the weather to warm up a bit) but more than 90% of the population are adults. There was one whose age I can't tell because it had sub-adult plumage but adult colored eyes. Well here are the pics.. Here is the sub-adult Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.002 sec (1/500) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 400 Handheld another one Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 800 Handheld here is one of the adults bringing back nesting material Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.003 sec (1/400) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 800 Handheld and an unexpected visitor, a Barred Rail Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.002 sec (1/640) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 800 Handheld Very rusty cameraman so pardon the IQ, hope to get some practice soon! Thanks for looking guys! oh, by the way, I saw swarple but really far tho.
