Got this pair from a feeder very close to a hotel in San Gerardo de Dota. 7D, 400mm, f/5.6, 1/800s, ISO 640 f/7.1, 1/160s, ISO 400 And the female 1/200s, ISO 400

These half light and half dark lighting conditions are the most undesirable situation in bird photography. I can imagine how you feel. At least you still got pictures of them. That resort is smart putting banana on the feeders. There must be a lot of bird going there to eat.

It was between 9-10AM, just after the quetzal tour that I took with the guide. Thanks and regards - ariel
