Today is a great day, the weather starts getting better here and I managed to take some shots of African thrust and southern mask weaver. I heard some different calls and start to locate where it came from. I just saw this two today please help me ID these birds. Thanks 1. Was taken in Lagos Nigeria For ID1 by shaxx2010, on Flickr 2. Taken in Lagos Nigeria I did some processing on this to get it a bit sharp and not so distracting due to a lot of branches For ID21 by shaxx2010, on Flickr

1 is Broad-billed Roller
2 is probably Splendid Glossy Starling, but the Glossy Starlings can be tricky. I think the white eye clinches this one though.

Hi Paul thanks a lot The 2nd bird was loud, thats why I was able to locate her location because of the loud call. Heres another view showing the back of the head. ID 2nd pics by shaxx2010, on Flickr
