On my last outing at Candaba there were just the garganeys and shovelers were left, but had a wonderful time because of the phil ducks and this x phil duck which somebody told me romy also had a pic of. Surprisingly it was treated not like a mutant at all by the dominant morph phil duck= no racist in duckworld 1/400 5.6 AV-67 iso 400 1/400 5.6 AV-67 iso 400 1/400 5.6 AV-67 iso 400 with no new ducks I was back to the herons my best of far on the BCNH 1/640 5.6 AV =67 iso 400 When to subic with the kids last weekend I met Nicky the guide with this Singaporean Photography by the name of Jimmy Lim or chiu (I think) finally saw the 600 mm Canon- it was a monster and this 70 yr guy was carrying it around with the tripod and flash- he would not agree to my propose barter with my 300 mm- you know to save him from health problems because I really cared. Anyway here are the pics of backbirds I took that day. 1/500 5,6 av -67 iso 320 1.4 tc wing shadows 1/1000 5.6 av -67 isp 320 300mm f4 no TC Male and female sooty woodpecker with the singaporean beside me I felt really small- you know the male self-mage is all about size di ba. 1/250 7.1 av -67 2x iso 320 TC on tripod 1/200 5.6 av -67 iso 320 2x TC on tripod all taken with 40d and canon 300 mm f4 is and 2x lenlo TC unless ortherwise specified.
