After an hour of unfruitful walk inside Carara National Park, a local guide told me that he knows where we could find nests of Scarlet Macaws. We took my car and drove for about 2kms and headed to the small town of Tarcoles. It was already way past 9am and the sun was against the tree hole when I took these shots. Thanks for viewing 400mm f/8.0, ISO400 400mm f/8.0, ISO400

It is too bad that the light was harsh and the sun is already up. Now that you know the place, perhaps you can go back and take pictures of the bird in better lighting conditions. If possible have the sun behind you. Try brightening up the second picture which I think will be okay. Just wondering if the hole on the other side is part of its nest or another nest. Mabuhay.
