Presuming in the Philippines. The now split species (from dauurica) striolata - Cecropis [Hirundo] striolata - Striated Swallow.

You see a lot of these swallow at the Banaue Hotel. So hard to take close captures of them coz they are pretty fast fliers. These are wonderful captures Nestor. I'm so sure that you had fun taking them

Nestor, I also saw them in Tagaytay near that restaurant on the cliff sorry forgot the name- since they all are in the cliff this isn't much help ha stupid me . anyway will write back if i remember. Nice captures!!

These are Pacific Swallows. Very hard to catch these small birds. Nice capture Telyds.

Hard to catch? Surprisingly, in Leyte, you can come very close. The only problem was it was raining that time. There were about a dozen of them, eye level, just at the back of the Nutrition Bldg. of Vis. University, where they make the famous Langka fritters.
