Here's one from the backlogs. This adult Black-crowned Night Heron ( Nycticorax nycticorax) appears to be ignoring the nestling as if saying, "But I've given you enough food already." Birds can be funny and it would be good to keep this picture for prosperity. We have lost one great birding area for the BCNH and I hope they come back. Where else can you take full frames of them? Nice capture Mark. Mabuhay.
