Finally after shooting snipes for so long that one obliged to show and spread it's tail feathers. The only problem is there is no such pattern that resembles it in the KG, the closest would be the Common Snipe (Gallinago gallinago).

Yes, Common Snipe. The outer feathers are not noticeably narrower as they are in Pintail and Swinhoe's, and also Latham's. The latter does occur in the Philippines though not in the KG

Hehe.... this is probably the first time I've seen a snipe ID'ed positively based on a photo. I wish they spread their tail like that each time they see a birdnut!
