The owner of Solomon's Place informed me that the water levels there are the same as the sea.. And at approximately 12 inches above sea level.. everything changes.. I have some pretty low level shots to show too, if you don't mind! :-) Whiskered Tern (Chlidonias hybridus) Canon EOS 60D; Tv 1/2500 sec; Aperture f/5.6; EF 400 mm f/5.6L ISO Speed 250; 0 Ev; Hand-held using available light.

Lovely low-angle images, Edu and Bobby. Here's my share. Thanks for permitting me to go down there and shoot low angles too! Really wished we could go a couple of inches lower and the bird would come closer. Thank you sirs Rey and Pao. Sir Bobby, your captures are all inspiring! I had a lot of difficulty locking in on the targets at low angles as the camera had too many things to focus on. Right there I was thinking BIFs would be impossible at that angle. I guess not.. for you. Thanks Mark, you were birding on Christmas eve? WOW!! Oh wait, I was there with you hahaha!

Thank you, Sir Ely. Birding is always fun even if we get tired, dirty, the trekking, heavy gear, the hot sun, sometimes missing a meal, but it is of course always fun and gratifying when we start sharing photos with friends.

You did not mention that a little boy almost knock you out there my friend. I can still hear his crying on top of his voice that he would report you to the Commander-in-Chief for not letting him see at 12" above sea level! Congrats on your excellent shots!
