Before we had our heads nuked at the Bataan Nuclear Plant, JP, Manny, Birthday Girl TeLyds and I decided to check out the Bee Eaters at Subic. I've been wanting to captures these beauties for the longest time. As such, when I caught this, I figured this was the perfect way to start a wonderful Birding Sortie. Must be one of your best shots, Martin.
I recall the thousands of Bee-Eaters in Tadlac. When they chirp, they sound like sleigh bells. Do they make the same sound in Subic?

I'm really flattered Ding! Thanks! The Bee-Eaters in Subic make a a high pitched sound every now and then. They were such a sight to see. For a time, I stopped taking pictures and watched these graceful beauties do their stuff. I then understood Tina's fascination with these Birds.
