I managed to squeeze some birding time into the hectic schedule last Saturday to visit UPD's latest attraction. I was there late in the afternoon and the lighting was very challenging (regretted not waking up early in the morning!). It was a good thing that our avian friend was still there and I got me some shots. The bird was active when I was there (1700H onwards), moving from one perch to another, hawking insects on the ground or in mid-air. I shot more than 400 images and only a handful were acceptable. Thank you for looking. Ferruginous Flycatcher ( Muscicapa ferruginea, immature), rare in Philippines UP Diliman, Quezon City, 20 Nov 2010 40D, 400/5.6 L, ISO 400, f/5.6, 1/4 sec, manual exposure, ambient light, CDAF via live view, tripod/gimbal, cable release, NR on BG

Thanks for the kind words, Ely and Rey. It's always a nice feeling when you get a shot of a new bird.
