Last Saturday, some members of WBCP planned a Makiling birding. It was a surprise to meet up with a PBPF member, Butch San Juan, in Magallanes who was part of the group. The guy is really a certified birdnut. Guys, the balete fruit are ripe. There are rare flycatchers (blue and white?) that my 300mm camera can't catch. Go, go! Now here are some that were not so hard to capture though not good enough with a 300mm. Coleto and Falconet Guaiabero Tarictic Hornbill (Female and Male)

Wow those are nice captures of the Tarictics both male & female. Nice timing to catch those fruits that are now in full bloom. Well done Lyds. Mabuhay.

Yeah, Paul, I got a shot of the Brown headed trush but it looks like a black leaf with the light behind. Boyet, the driver of Alex Tiongco who was left behind in Trees with bins, enjoyed so many birds while we were on the trail.
Thanks guys for the kind comments. lyd

Those are nice shots of the tarictics, Lyds. I still have to get a good capture of this bird.

Thanks Doc William and Tateo san. I wish I am a better photographer. With opportunities like that... the photos should be much better. I still have to learn a lot and I do not know PP. lyd
