@sir Ely, yes you should go there sometime to give these birds photos better than the ones I can make. There are a lot more species there, whimbrels, terns, lots of other waders and of course the Chinese Egret

eyes were tired las night.. I think this is better Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.003 sec (1/400) Aperture f/8.0 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 200 Tripod also, I found these settings to be the "sweet spot" for my combo

Very nice series Edu. The first two and the last three has too much contrast in my monitor, a little adjustment and thy're fine. This is the best and has the perfect exposure in my display.

Thank you Sir Rey. This is exactly what I was looking for, constructive critique. I had an inkling that my images were dark (again) when I learned my monitor went back to its default settings. How about this one sir?

Exposure looks good to though a little hottish on the crown but not that much. I myself will try the burn tool a little to lessen the difference.

I like the 4th shot best Edu with its anticipated action. BTW next time you're there look for the black-headed tern I saw one last weekend.
