When Aphine told me that we are taking her cousin to SJ on Monday night, I hastily packed my gear hoping to bird at Pinagbayanan on first light. Knowing that our host will ask me to have breakfast first before living, I slowly sneaked out of our room but the main door was creaky that blew my stealth mode. ;D Can't argue my way out of this. To cut the story short, I reached the ponds way past the golden light. The ponds were all filled with water anyway so there were no waders save to the fish stalking, long legged Great Egrets . I thought I'll just find a shady part at the other side of the pond and wait for fly-by's. Here's my catch for two hours I was there. All shot with 5DM2 + 600mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, Tv priority, Tripod-Gimbal support. f8 (f16), 1/640 sec., ISO 640, -1 EV, 98.3m f16 (f32), 1/400 sec., ISO 640, -4/3 EV, 40.3m f11 (f22) 1/640 sec., ISO 640 -2/3 EV, 56.7m There were whimbrels, golden plovers and Phil duck fly-by's but were to far even for the rocket launcher. ;D Ka Intsek told me that they might drain the ponds to harvest the leftover bangus in time for Christmas.

Thanks Ely and Nilo,
@ Ely, that's an immature BK, there were around 4, maybe more, flying around that day.
