Went out last weekend to a local park to try my luck despite the occasional rain showers. I guess luck is on my side since I found some waxwings playing under the berry trees. The Cedar Waxwing in its classic elegant pose 7D, 1/2000s, f5.6, ISO800, 400mm 7D, 1/2000s, f5.6, ISO800, 400mm

Very nice shots, Conrad! I like the first one as it also shows the red berries there, and the crown is telling!

What a handsome & elegant looking bird. The first picture really does the bird justice. Well done Conrad. Mabuhay.

Pao, Ely and Edwin, thanks for the nice comments. Of all the birds I have taken so far, although not that many yet, this is one of my favorite. Cheers
