I don't know how this bird got its name but it sure sounds complicated. Looks like its early morning or late afternoon. Nice capture of the bird Eric. Mabuhay.

Nice catch, Eric... I like the crest and the way it is establishes eye contact. Yeah, the background is a spoiler, and I think it's a bit pale on my screen but that can be easily remedied in the levels, contrast and/or shadows and highlights.
