Got this cisticola during a visit to Candaba with Bong, Rey, Bob, Cynthia, Alain, and Olan almost three weeks ago. I really wish that blade of grass wasn't there. Zitting Cisticola ( Cisticola juncidis) Candaba, Pampanga, 16 Oct 2010 40D, 400 f/5.6 L, ISO 400, 1/1250 sec, manual exposure, handheld, cropped

I like the blade of grass there. Makes it look realistic and emphasizes the head half.

Its a picture perfect ZC. A positive way of looking at it is that the grass validates its authenticity. Well done Mark. Mabuhay.

What a macro, Mark! The white areas are just hairline away from being blown! The green is lovely!

Mark, it depends on taste. for me, I love it when pictures have some foreground elements to give the image depth, so I really like this one. Sharp where it counts.
