Went to Bataan 2 weekends ago and got this very willing subject. It was lightly drizzling but I told Wency we had to go birding even around the area only. Decided to try the road outside the resort. There was a fruiting tree full of hungry coppersmith barbets and pigeons but light was really bad so skipped that and decided to drive on. I saw this dirt road and told myself, why the heck not? Entered the road and parked my car right beside this branch that fell off a tree. This lady saw me and decided to perch at a branch right beside the car. Opened my window and had the most wonderful time with this lady Pied Bushchat (Saxicola caprata) 40D + 400mm f/5.6 ; ISO 320 ; bean bag ; f/5.6 ; 1/500 all puffed upHmmm I can't believe that she's STILL taking my picture!

Its amazing how you can take photographs of different species the same way, most of the time... clean, sharp, expressive with a perfect pose... simply amazing.. amazing.. (sigh..)
