hi' saw this couple together with a couple of paddyfield pipit. are they female or male? which one? or perhaps youngs?

Wow, nice catch, Renoir! It's Yellow wagtails, male on the right and could be female or juvenile on the left due to its lighter bill, I think.

The right hand bird is an adult (probably) male tschutschensis Yellow Wag, the other is a first year of the same species. Not possible to sex them at this age. The majority of Yellow Wags at the moment are of this type.
