Practice makes perfect. Not doing anything this weekend, I practiced taking bird photos with the house sparrow as my model. Nice shots, William.... these guys are actually tougher to shoot than expected, as they seldom stay still in photogenic perches.

Nice ETS series William, Yes, they are good subjects to hone your photographic skills on as they are found everywhere, but just the same efforts would be needed to shoot the other species
