I believed I haven't posted any of my black-capped chikadees. I had a chance to take another one today. When I checked my database, I had a photo of them taken at different months. The Sibley Guide says Fresh adult from Sep-March and Worn adult from April-August. Taken last February 7D, f6.3, 1/800s, ISO400 Taken last April 7D, f8, 1/1250s, ISO400 Taken today (October) 7D, f8, 1/1250s, ISO400

Very nice Chikadee. What a beautiful name for a beautiful bird. Well done Conrad. Mabuhay. Thanks Ely. These birds though small are easy to photographs. They will even perch at your arms if you have some seeds for them. Cheers

I would call that communing with nature. What a wonderful experience it must be to be able to interact with the birds.

Wonderful set Conrad, love the last image with the photogenic perch. Thanks Rey. Poor weather (overcast) when I went out that day but still lucky to get a good one in addition to the lifer (ruby-crowned kinglet) I also got, mentioned in another thread . Cheers

Very nice set Conrad! Like Ely, my first impression was that the bird looks as cute as its name sounds.
