Got a nice treat when I had a few hours to bird on the last day of our sortie. While waiting for the Black-headed Bulbul to show up, the bird guide saw this Raptor perch on a nearby tree. Had a few docu shots before of this bird perched in the highest potions of some Cell site towers. Anyway, had my chance for a closer encounter and got a few decent keepers. Very nice capture despite the harsh back lighting, Rey.

My office monitor cannot give justice to this photo. It is actually very well exposed, despite the extreme back-lighting! Well done, Rey!

Thanks a lot guys. Here's another capture where I attached a 1.4X TC to get more pixels from this bird. I got a bigger bird but the quality as expected was a little bit degraded. The bird was warily observing me as I was attaching the Teleconverter. 50D +EF500, f7.1, 1/200, ISO 800, Manual Exposure, Handheld
