Hi Renoir. this is a nice one! "Puffing up" before/after preening, perhaps? I just see a greenish cast on the front white feathers, maybe because of the background. Happy shooting! - E

hi E..' thanks for viewing...on greenish cast? i really don't know how it happen to appear is such tone...i will give a try to edit the tone and will let u know the outcome.
hi Bob and Rey' i have noticed that images captured by d5000 + SigEnigma are "sharper" when subjects are very close...say 5m or less.
hi donusa' the camera-subject distance may be less than 5m...

Very sharp indeed, Renoir! and that's the rule of thumb! the closer, the sharper, the more details you get. applicable to all lenses
