Dropped by Ninoy Aquino Parks & Wildlife just before picking my son up from Xavierville, hoping to get a glimpse of the dollarbird. I didn't see my target bird but got my first decent shot of a Pied Fantail instead. Am happy!!! fantail-2 by gabsbuluran, on Flickr Camera Nikon D300S Exposure 0.013 sec (1/80) Aperture f/6.3 Focal Length 400 mm ISO Speed 1000 Cropped Gimbal Support

Thats good Gabs. Everyone should have a place to go birding that is near the home or office to keep the spirit of birding alive. It is convenience like this that makes life more interesting.

That's true Ely! Being able to bird close to home is nice. Working on attracting birds close to home has become my personal goal.
Edu, such a nice and curious bird. It checks you out and agrees to being photographed close.
Thanks Bob! Would have been perfect if the lower portion was not burnt... the lagoon's reflection was too harsh...
Bobby, you're right, this fellow looked so clean and tidy. Much like wearing a tux for a shoot.
Cheers everyone and have a great week.

Good one! I just posted some Pied Fantail shots from Bangkok, Thailand - it seems that the Philippine type has a thicker white "eyebrow". I also noticed this in the PF shot on the Birwatch.ph galleries. Have fun!
