My first visit to Villa Lurenzo was supposed to be a BIF outing but the light did not cooperate as thunder clouds on the east were blocking the early morning sun, forcing me to use high ISO shots for static and flying BCNH. Another target was the Purple Swamphen but it dipped. The place still did not disappoint as I was treated with seeing the different appearance of the BCNH as it passes through its stages in life. All taken with 5DM2 + 600mm f4 IS w/ Tripod-Gimbal support, Manual exposure in available light. Adult f7.1, 1/200, ISO 200 Sub-adult f7.1, 1/2500 sec, ISO 1600 f7.1, 1/1250 sec, ISO 800 Fledgling f7.1, 1/200, ISO 200 Nestling f7.1, 1/1250 sec, ISO 1600 and a BIF shot of a juvenile f6.3, 1/1600, ISO 800

That is a nice series. Where in the Philippines can you see a bird in different stages of their lives and all within 15 meters in distance? Villa Lorenzo is a unique place that is difficult to see anywhere else. Well done Neon. Mabuhay.
