I believe the best way to say "thank you" to someone who was generous enough to share his PP skills is to show him your end product. Here is mine.. a Striated Grassbird 1. Open in ACR 2. Cropped in ACR to a 2x3 aspect ratio (this is my choice, Neon advised to crop in Photoshop) 3. Pulled back the midtones on the BG to reveal the blue 4. Set the white balance (auto) 5. Adjusted levels to taste (values were within the -255 to 255 from the start) 6. Opened the file in Photoshop 7. Global sharpening with unsharp mask 8. Used the selection tool to isolate the eye, which was invisible, almost all black at the start 9. Adjusted levels for the eye 10. merged the layers And this is what I got. Honestly, I think it looks weird but I like it so am sharing. Thank you Neon! This Paduan has learned a lot. *Edit Note Did not post exif info as even if one would shoot at the same settings, result would not be the same

Thanks for sharing the detailed PP workflow Sir Edu. Appreciate it a lot. By the way, can you show the before and after photos for better appreciation? ;D
