But as a consolation found this roaming in the undergrowth below the said tree that the $bird used as a perch a few days back. I cased it for half a day and it dipped. Anyway I was able to scratch the trigger finger and it sure feels good. White-breasted Waterhen ( Amaurornis phoenicurus) - NAPAW, September 6, 2010 5DM2 + 600 mm f4 IS + 2x Kenko TC, f4 (f8), 1/60 sec, ISO 1600, Tripod-Gimbal support, manual exposure in available light.

Yan ang settings! 1/60 sec and ISO 1600 is surely a tough one to execute. tougher if you do it on an 1200mm.
