My lens and body are still at Canon service, leaving me featherless for the next couple of days. Meanwhile here's another BCNH shot (not again) carrying a twig as it approaches a tree where its nest is built. Black-crowned Night Heron ( Nycticorax nycticorax) Edu's Swamp, Valenzuela, Metro Manila 40D, 400/5.6 L, ISO 640, f/5.6, 1/2000 sec, manual exposure, handheld, full frame, slightly extended canvas upwards and to the right

What a beautiful capture of a BIF. I still have to get one as good as this. Well done Mark. Mabuhay.
