No longer a lifer for me but I like this shot so much that I did not dare touch it for PP Philippine Falconet (Microhierax erythrogenys) Camera Nikon D90 Exposure 0.001 sec (1/1000) Aperture f/5.6 Focal Length 400 mm Exposure Bias 0 EV ISO Speed 800 Handheld in a car with Gabs shaking and moving and Bob slightly in the way ;D Oh, before I forget. When I said I did not touch it for any PP, I did not mean this did not go through Post Processing. Neon did it for me ;D and he did a great job!

Way cool shot, considering the circumstances. Did Neon clone out my ear? ;D

I have a feeling this Falconet will soon be a superstar There is a good chance of seeing it again in that same perch I think. Nah, You weren't in the way at all sir, there was enough room to point and shoot

Woohoo! Very nice capture! Nice PP Sir Neon! How I wish I could join you guys to learn from Sir Neon how to do post-processing. If somebody would be kind enough to record the training?

Thanks gents. Eric, let's see. Maybe someone can record it. Maybe even just the PC's screen. Alain, mind you.. I did not do any PP on this pic. Because Neon did. hahaha! The original is really a botched shot. Glenn, would you like me to post your version? I hope this can be included on Saturday's event.

thank you, JV.
Thanks Mark. It is one of those moments when getting near was pure luck. Bob and I were actually looking up at some falconets perched on wires then gabs spotted this one.
