Last Saturday, Aphine (Neon's wife) agreed to meet at UP to pick some bottles of honey I ordered. I came earlier to butterfly watch near NIGS and a struck of fate had my eyes focused on something that looked like dead leaves, but I was not convinced. My, oh, my... the nocturnal bird was exposed and wide awake. Here's sharing my capture. ISO 500, 1/49, Manual, Available light, Benro Tripod/Ballhead
"So God created... every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good." (Genesis 1:20-21)

Thanks Pao, William, Ely and Bobby K for the kind comments.
Allan, I guess I can broadcast the site here. It is actually between Science and NIGs but the problem is -it probably is not there anymore. I went back last Saturday and saw that the tree where it perched had been trimmed. Prop Jerry asked me to send him a copy of the photo to show the administration people about the implication of indiscriminate clearings. Even on the day when I photographed it, it suddenly rained and when Aphine opened her umbrella, the NJ moved to the adjacent tree but I could not see it anymore... that tree was also trimmed after. So, sorry. But Prop said at night, you'd see the movement of the NJ there. telyds
